BreastfeedMIAMI, Inc. was incorporated by the State of Florida on January 22, 2024. The corporation is run by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of 9 members who meet monthly (in person or virtually) to discuss the business and operation of the corporation.

BreastfeedMIAMI is supported broadly by an extensive coalition of community collaborators (organizations, institutions and partners).
The Coalition meets monthly (in person or virtually) to develop and further its strategic planning framework and goals, plan community events, and conduct and discuss research and other matters of importance to promoting breastfeeding in Miami.
